Coach Spedafino's Softball Clinics NEW !

The following softball clinics are open to all players in grades 3rd through 6th. They are hosted by Joan Spedafino, the Rye Neck High School varsity softball coach. The fee is $60 for each set of 4 sessions (general skills on weekend mornings, pitching on Tuesday nights). Registration is limited to the first 50 girls. Checks must be made out to Rye Neck Softball, and can be dropped off at F.E. Bellows School or mailed to: Joan Spedafino, 208 West Street, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. Any questions? Diamond Pro's Baseball/Softball Camp NEW !

The following spring break baseball/softball camp is open to all registered players ages 7 through 12. It is hosted by Diamond Pro's, Inc. Diamond Pro's employ an outstanding staff of experienced instructors and clinicians. The fundamentals of all the disciplines of the game of baseball/softball will be introduced throughout this program. Players must bring a lunch, sneakers, cleats and a baseball glove. Bats are also allowed. The fee is $240 for the set of 4 sessions (single day rates are available at $70 per day), if received by 03/28. The fee is $280 for in-person late registration on 03/29. Individual batting instruction with a batting specialist is available as an option at $40 per day. This summer baseball/softball camp is hosted by Mike Chiapparelli, the Mamaroneck High School varsity baseball coach, and Bill Consiglio, the former Division I college coach and current president of 21st Century Sports. 2009 Fall Season

Congratulations to the following teams:

11U Larchmont-Mamaroneck Spartans:

  • 11 year old Westchester Putnam Baseball Association playoff champions. Larchmont-Mamaroneck was the 6th seed and went 3-0 in the playoffs, defeating 5th seeded Putnam Valley / Cortlandt in the championship game.

    12U Larchmont-Mamaroneck Tigers:

  • 12+ year old Westchester Putnam Baseball Association regular season champions. Larchmont-Mamaroneck finished the regular season with a 7-2 record, ahead of 2nd place Larchmont-Mamaroneck American and 3rd place Putnam Valley - RL. Overall, there were 9 teams in the division.


    2009 Summer Season

    Congratulations to the following teams:

    13U Larchmont-Mamaroneck Riptide:

  • 13 year old Westchester Putnam Baseball Association regular season champions. Larchmont-Mamaroneck finished the regular season with a 17-1 record, tied for 1st/2nd place with Bedford Hills and ahead of 3rd/4th place (tied) Larchmont-Mamaroneck Panthers and Danbury (CT). Overall, there were 16 teams in the division.

    14U Larchmont-Mamaroneck Thunder:

  • 14 year old Babe Ruth Westchester District Tournament champions. The tournament was held from 07/11 to 07/14 in Port Chester. Larchmont-Mamaroneck went 2-1, defeating 2nd place Eastchester in the championship game. They then advanced to the Babe Ruth Metro N.Y. State Tournament, where they went 2-2. The tournament was held from 07/25 to 08/01 at South Shore in Staten Island.

    16U Larchmont-Mamaroneck Tigers:

  • 16 year old Babe Ruth Metro N.Y. State Tournament champions. The tournament was held from 07/18 to 07/22 at HBQVB in Hollis, Queens. Larchmont-Mamaroneck went 4-0, defeating 2nd place Port Chester in the championship game. They then advanced to the Babe Ruth Middle-Atlantic Region Tournament, where they lost in the finals. The tournament was held from 08/08 to 08/11 at South Shore in Staten Island. Larchmont-Mamaroneck went 4-2, losing to 1st place Williamsport (PA) in the championship game. Photo.

  • 18 year old Westchester Baseball Association Connie Mack Division regular season champions. Larchmont-Mamaroneck finished the regular season with a 12-2 record, ahead of 2nd place Rye Renegades and 3rd place Outsiders.

    Daniel Marcus Awards

    The Daniel Marcus Sportsmanship Awards are presented each spring season to a 12 year old player in Baseball Majors and a 12 year old player in Softball Majors who have demonstrated sportsmanship, teamwork and maturity during their Little League careers. The awards honor the memory of Daniel J. Marcus (1985-1998), a former player in our league. The Daniel Marcus Sportsmanship Awards are the only individual player achievements recognized by L.M.L.L. Congratulations to last year's winners, and to all of our past recipients.

    George Allen Awards

    The George Allen Coaching Awards are presented each spring season to a coach in Baseball Majors and a coach in Softball Majors whom have been judged as their respective division’s Coach of the Year, based upon the following criteria:

  • Quality of Little League experience the coach provides to the players on his/her team
  • Development of baseball/softball skills and knowledge
  • Creating a fun experience that helps foster a love for the game
  • Sportsmanship
  • Attitude towards players, parents, umpires and opposing coaches
  • Reliability, responsibility and communication

    The awards honor the memory of George Allen (1947-2007), a former coach and dedicated Board member in our league. Congratulations to last year's inaugural year winners.

    Stephen Spina Award

    The Stephen Spina Umpiring Award is presented each spring season to an umpire in competitive baseball or softball who has been judged to be the L.M.L.L.'s most exemplary, based on the following criteria:

  • Knowledge of the game
  • Attitude towards players and coaches
  • Reliability and responsibility
  • Overall demeanor, fairness and conduct
  • Willingness to teach and bring fun to the games

    The award honors the memory of Stephen P. Spina (1971-2007), a former umpire in our league. Congratulations to last year's inaugural year co-winners.
