Baseball T-Ball Rules

1. There are 12-14 players per team.

2. Bases are spaced 45 feet apart.

3. Game time is 1 1/2 hours or 4 innings, whichever comes first.

4. Home team supplies the game ball.

5. All players bat each inning. The batting order should be reversed each inning.

6. All players play the field each inning. One player should play the position of pitcher with a coach being the catcher. Play is stopped when the ball is returned to the pitcher.

7. Each player should play at least 1 inning in the infield each game.

8. There should be a different player at both the pitcher's position and first base every inning.

9. Base runners must wear a helmet.

10. If an out is made such player should leave the field.

11. After the first 3 games coaches have the option to pitch. Guidelines are as follows:

a. Coaches pitch underhand.

b. No balls or strikes are called.

c. After 5 swings the batter must hit off the tee.

d. Batter has the option to use the tee instead of being pitched to.
